I am a multi-disciplinary artist. Currently, my preferred medium is painting. This website is a record and digital cabinet for several projects of mine.
Over the past few years, I have gone from project to project, reinventing my approach to how I make my art. I never felt comfortable working in one medium for too long, I am always seeking new frontiers to explore for myself. This has had a profound impact on the type of work I produce.
I would describe my work as personal or even autobiographical, a little self-indulgent or romantic. I draw from a wide variety of topics from technological insecurity, media consumption, discussions on imperialism, religion and environmental concerns. Yet these topics rarely take centre stage in the final work.
Currently, I have been working on a series of paintings (and potentially other media) I've decided to call the "Garden series". Through this body of work, I am exploring the idea of control and mastery over the natural world.

If there is one thing that unifies my practice, it is my search for some kind of hidden truth, either internal or external. I won't say that I have any answers to life or art, only questions. I am navigating through a foggy town guided by bright lights and loud sounds. I can only imagine what the town looks like without the fog.
